Skimmia Rubella is an envergreen shrub that will have leaves throughout the year. During Autumn/Winter it develops small red buds, which will hold on the plant during the winter months. These buds will then burst into fragrant flowers during the Spring Time.
It is a shrub that would suit your pots all year round, giving colour continuously. It can be planted in the ground and it can tolerate shade.
