Ribes Black Velvet

Ribes Black Velvet is a Gooseberry with medium sized deep puple/redish fruit.  The fruit is sweet/tart flavour and makes a fabulous jam.  Can be eaten once it's fully ripened.  It is very easy to grown and will produce a heavy crop of berries. Ribes Black Velvet is very hardy and disease resisitant
