Pyrus Pendula, is also known as an Ornamental Pear. It is a weeping Pear tree that can reach up to 20 feet when it is fully grown. The leaves are slender and silver grey in colour. It is an unusual weeping tree to grow, but it grows easily.
The Weeping Pear produces white flowers in April and then it can produce small pears, which are not edible.
Plant the Pyrus in full sun and it is not too fussy about the soil.
Pruning, remove dead or diseased branches during the winter months.
