Pilea peperomoides – Chinese Money Plant
The Pilea peperomides, is prized for its beauty and the belief that it brings the owner good luck and prosperity for millennia, hence the name the Money plant. It can also be called the missionary plants because in 1946 cuttings were taken by missionary Agnar Espegren from China to Norway
The Chinese Money Plant will ill thrive in a bright spot but without direct sunlight, it is ideal near a window in a bright room like the kitchen, bathroom or living space
Water once a week and allow the soil to dry between waterings
Fertilize once a month during Spring, Summer and Autumn with houseplant fertilizer
