Oesteospermum jucundum, also known as an African Daisy, with white petals and a dark purple centre. This African daisy has narrow green foliage, which spreads to provide a weed suppressing groundcover. These colourful daisys produce flowers from April until at least August and will flower every year.
Oesteospermum likes to be grown in well drained soil with full sun, it would suit flower beds and borders. It can also be grown in pots and I have seen it grow really well in an area with lots of gravel outside a driveway.
