Osmanthus Purpureus is a compact evergreen shrub. It has leaves that are holly-like with dark coppery-bronze foliage when young. Osmanthus are really hardy and slow growing.
Osmanthus Purpureus can be planted in with other shrubs and flowers for a mixed border. It can also be planted into pots and would stay in a large pot for a number of years.
