Echium candicans has very tall cones of blue flowers opening in late Spring right through to the summer months. Once flowering, the wow factor appears in spades. Echium candicans, has soft fuzzy foliage during the first year. During year 2, cones of flowers that can grow to nearly 2.5m (7 feet) with neat blue bell like flowers. Pollinators adore the Echium.
Echium candicans, is a drought tolerant plant and due to it's stature, it will definately stand out in any flower bed or border. Avoid frost pockets.
Plant in full sun, shelter from all wind and be careful of frost.
