Delphinium Black Knight

Delphinium Black Knight are hard to miss in the flower bed/border with the sheer height and number of flowers on each stem they are a stand out plant. Black Knight has semi-double flowers that are really dark purple.

Black Knight likes to be planted in full sun and well drained soil.  They make excellent cut flowers for the vase.  Plant with other cottage garden plants, Lupins, Lobelias and Salvias.  Ensure to cut back the Black Knight when it is finished flowering for a second flush to extend the season of your Delphinium.
