Darwin hybrid tulips ‘Apeldoorn’ have very tall stems with huge blooms of cherry-red flowers. The flowers close up at night time when the temperature cools down before opening up again the following morning to greet the rising sun. The work great alongside the yellow of Golden Apeldoorn variety.
