Clematis Avalanche

Clematis Avalanche is an evergreen climber, it would suit a balcony, terrace, fence or wall.

The leaves of this particular Clematis are dark green with toothed edge.  The flowers are produced in early Spring and here it is pictured full of buds ready to burst into a mass of White flowers.

Clematis Avalanche can flower from March until May.  This is one climber that really lives up to its name, it is like an ‘Avalanche’ of white, covering the plant in white flowers.

Planting this evergreen climber, it likes full sun to partial shade. This means that it is in shade for a few hours of the day, not all day.

This picture was taken in March 2020 and shows the Clematis Avalanche in bud.  It is grown on a trellis for support.
