Callicarpa Profusion, also known as the Beauty Bush is amazing during the Autumn in particular.
During Autumn the leaves turn violet/red and when they fall. The Autumn berries are revealed on bare stems. The berries are usually lilac, or bright purple and are in clusters of berries which will remain on the plant until nearly Christmas providing plenty of winter interest.
The cut branches are excellent for winter flower arrangements.
Callicarpa, likes well drained soil and will do well in full sun, or with light shade. You can prune any dead or damaged branches in early spring.
