The Birch Pendula, is a native silver birch that is a tall deciduous tree, loosing it’s leaves during the winter months. It has drooping branches with white bark that peels off revealing a peachy colour underneath.
The leaves are heart shaped with serrated edging and turn yellow during the Autumn months. The canopy of the Birch is open, so it provides light dappled shade underneath.
The Birch Pendula is a very hardy tree, it will do well in full sun or partial shade and in any well drained soil.
